News/Press Releases Annual Reviews Announces 2010 Pricing Freeze Consistent with our mission to serve the worldwide information community, Annual Reviews will freeze institutional and site license pricing for 2010. We consider this an opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to the scientific community, by providing our exceptional content to the broadest base of users possible. The economy as a whole is facing extraordinary circumstances. Annual Reviews understands the adversities currently faced by many of our institutional customers and we are taking measures internally to allow us to eliminate an increase in pricing. Institutions renewing existing site licenses and subscriptions can be assured that their pricing will not increase for 2010. While Annual Reviews is adding 3 new titles to our publication family in 2010, pricing for these publications will be fair and, in keeping with our mission since our establishment in 1932, will continue to be among the lowest priced in all of scientific literature. Simply put, institutions renewing their existing Annual Reviews site license or subscription for 2010 will pay exactly what they paid in 2009. If an institution chooses to include additional Annual Reviews titles, their price increase will only reflect the additional content. It is our hope that the absence of an increase for 2010 will help librarians ensure they have a diverse collection of holdings that will include Annual Reviews and subsequently ensure patrons will still have access to this valuable resource. If you have questions regarding our pricing policy for 2010 or for more information, please contact the Annual Reviews Institutional Sales Department: Steven Castro Andrea Lopez Nick Niemeyer About Annual Reviews |
